Welcome to my travel-blog. This is the first time making a travel-blog, so I'm not sure what I should write. I guess I should start with an introduction.
As many of you know, I'll be in Tokyo (Japan) the next three months for my internship at Kuwahara Labs. Will be doing some research on travel time estimations, you probably aren't interested in the details.
For now I've been in Tokyo for two days. I arrived at Narita Airport on the 12th and took the Narita Express (train) towards Shinjuku. I'm amazed I arrived in Shinjuku!! Although the public transport here is great, finding your way around is difficult. Stations are HUGE, it's an adventure itself finding your train! It's a good thing that I had someone to pick me up at Shinjuku and help me around.
Anyway, the first day I walked around a bit in Shinjuku, didn't make any pictures the first day cause I was walking around with 3 bags. And by the time I arrived at my room, I left everything in my room and went to Shibuya (maybe I forgot my camera, or maybe I didn't feel like taking it along). To summarize everything, chaos! -but fun. (walking on the wrong side, can't understand much, getting lost, I guess this is what people call a cultural shock)
To somewhat keep my first post short: Second day I visited Kuwahara Labs, everybody seems to be nice. Walked around a bit in Shibuya again. And since I have no feeling for direction, not to mention very bad memory, I had the same chaos as the first day.
That's it for now!
PS. From now on I'll try and make posts with pictures and a more detailed description of the situation.
